Michael Keenan is a senior construction technician with Professional Consultants International, an international design and construction consulting company. Mr. Keenan specializes in floor and wall assembly construction, including ceramic tile, stone, brick masonry, terrazzo, resilient and concrete materials, and is responsible for providing field investigation, testing and quality assurance services to PROCON clients.
Mr. Keenan is trained in specialized forensic and diagnostic field test procedures and equipment, and is also responsible for coordination of independent laboratory materials testing, including forensic petrographic and chemical testing.
Mr. Keenan has over 35 years of experience in construction, including 20 years of experience as a tile and stone master mechanic, including as a foreman for complex luxury residential and commercial ceramic and stone tile construction. Mr. Keenan also has 10 years of sub-specialty experience with gunite and shotcrete concrete, exterior stone masonry, cement plaster and concrete construction, as well as with related plumbing and waterproofing applications such as pool and water feature construction.
Mr. Keenan is familiar with all phases of commercial construction project management, such staffing and scheduling of work crews, standard project documentation practices, industry construction trade practices, and diagnostic testing.
Mr. Keenan was awarded the Connecticut Floor Covering Association Installation of the Year Award in 2003.
