PROCON was retained by strategic partner UHY Advisors, LLP to conduct an independent audit of in-progress construction for the Price Center for Genetic & Translational Medicine, Bronx, New York City.
The purpose of the audit was to provide an architectural opinion as to whether 1) the construction completed was generally compliant with the contract documents and applicable building code requirements, 2) that disbursed and remaining construction funds were commensurate with the completion status of the construction, and 3) whether any claims, disputes, extant / latent defects or other problems might exist that could affect construction completion and/or funding.
