Brooklyn Children’s Museum, New York City
PROCON principal Richard Goldberg AIA, CSI provided consulting services through former association with FORCON A/E Services for the design of the exterior wall system for the Brooklyn Children’s Museum in New York City, designed by the internationally renowned architect Rafael Viñoly Associates. The design concept features a 270 foot long undulating facade canopy clad with 50,000 square feet of yellow porcelain mosaic tile. The complex geometry of the facade skeletal structure will be constructed using state of the art computer fabrication techniques generated from Rhinoceros 3D computer modeling software.
