As consulting architects and engineers, PROCON has the unique capability to combine highly-specialized technical knowledge of terrazzo design / construction with a multi-disciplinary understanding of related building systems and materials compatibility , such as reinforced concrete, moisture vapor transmission, self-leveling underlayments and crack isolation membranes.  In addition, PROCON maintains specialized equipment for conducting field testing of terrazzo assemblies, such as tensile pull adhesion equipment, acoustic sounding with rotary percussive equipment, and moisture vapor emission / internal relative humidity testing equipment.
