PROCON comissioned to conduct research of new construction engineering technologies - PROCON has been engaged by strategic partner LATICRETE International to conduct and present research to develop quantitative analytical methods for design of adhesive technologies used for cladding of exterior building wall systems.

The research focuses on an assessment of the importance ot balancing the shear strength and flexibility characterisitics of these adhesive technologies.  PROCON has introduced the concept of utilizing "surface engineering" methods such as computer finite element modeling and simulation used in the aerospace industry for design of complex, non-linear structural composite systems such as adhered architectural cladding of building exteriors.

PROCON principal Richard P. Goldberg AIA, CSI, NCARB is scheduled to present this important research at building design and construction conferences around the world in 2009-2010, including  the Israeli Standards Conference in Tel Aviv, Israel (November 2, 2009),  the MEDMA Conference in Dubai, UAE (November 24, 2009),  and QUALICER in Castellon, Spain (February 8-10, 2009).
